How Brand Partnerships Work in Carro?

Edited

Carro makes it simple for retailers and suppliers to partner together and sell more products through Shopify. Here’s a step-by-step look at how partnerships work inside Carro:

1. Supplier Setup

  • Suppliers create a listing in Carro’s Brand Directory.

  • During setup, they set their revenue split (the percentage retailers earn for each sale).

2. Retailer Discovery

  • Retailers browse the directory to find products and brands.

  • Each brand card shows the revenue share a retailer will receive.

  • With one click, retailers can request access or add products to their store.

3. Product Sync

  • Once approved, products flow directly into the retailer’s Shopify store.

  • Images, prices, and descriptions automatically sync.

  • Retailers can merchandise products however they like—add to collections, feature on landing pages, or use as upsell opportunities.

4. Customer Shopping Experience

  • Customers shop and checkout directly through the retailer’s store.

  • Mixed carts (retailer’s own products + supplier products) are fully supported.

  • The customer sees a seamless experience with no indication that products come from multiple brands.

5. Order Fulfillment

  • Orders for supplier products appear in the retailer’s Shopify Orders tab.

  • Retailers don’t fulfill these orders—instead, they are automatically routed to the supplier’s Shopify order queue.

  • The supplier fulfills the order just like any other.

6. Payouts & Customer Data

  • Payments are split instantly between retailer and supplier based on the revenue share.

  • Both parties retain access to customer information for retargeting and future campaigns.

With Carro, partnerships run automatically in the background—so retailers can expand their catalog, and suppliers can grow their distribution, all without extra manual work.
