Which Emails Are Sent to Customers and Who Sends Them?

By default, all customer emails come from the Retailer’s Shopify store.
Carro automatically suppresses supplier emails so the customer experience stays seamless.

Shipping updates
Refund notifications
Mixed Cart Orders
If an order includes:
Retailer products plus supplier products, or
Products from multiple suppliers,
The customer will receive separate shipping notifications for each shipment, but all emails still come from the Retailer’s store.
Exceptions: Supplier 3rd-Party Email Tools
Some suppliers use apps like Klaviyo or other 3rd-party platforms for order confirmation or marketing emails.
In these cases, the supplier may need to suppress duplicate emails to avoid confusing the customer.
