For Retailers: How Are Orders Fulfilled?

Edited

Modes of Fulfillment

Retailers have three fulfillment modes to choose from: Auto-Fulfillment, Delayed Auto-Fulfillment, and Manual-Fulfillment. By default, your account is set to Auto-Fulfillment. You can request a change to the other modes at support@getcarro.com.

1. Auto-Fulfillment (Default)

  • Whenever a partner product is purchased from your store, Carro automatically creates a wholesale order to the supplier, including the customer’s shipping details.

  • You don’t need to hold stock or trigger fulfillment manually.

  • This is the fastest method and ideal for streamlined operations.

2. Delayed Auto-Fulfillment

  • This mode gives you a buffer period after an order is placed, before Carro forwards the fulfillment request to the supplier.

  • Use it when you want to:
      • Verify payments
      • Review or adjust items in the order
      • Screen for potential fraud

  • Important: You can still manually override the delay by requesting fulfillment early (see Manual steps below).

3. Manual-Fulfillment

  • With manual mode active, each order requires your direct input before fulfillment is sent to the supplier.

  • Steps to fulfill manually:
      1. Go into the order in your dashboard.
      2. Click “Request Fulfillment”.
      3. Confirm by clicking “Send Fulfillment Request”.
