How to Prevent International Orders for Supplier Products

If you want to ensure that supplier products are only available for domestic shipping (and not for international orders), follow these steps in Shopify:

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings > Shipping and Delivery.

  2. Under General Shipping Rates, click Manage.

  3. Scroll to the Shipping origins section and click Show details.

  4. Find Carro Partnerships and click Manage.

  5. Select Create new rates.

  1. Scroll to the new section labeled Shipping origins: Carro Partnerships.

  1. Click Create zone.

  2. Name the zone — suggested: Domestic Carro.

  3. Search for United States.

  4. Uncheck Territories and any non-states, then click Done.

  1. Click Add rate.

  1. Choose a Rate Name (most retailers set the price to $0.00 for supplier products). Click Done.

  2. Click Save.

  1. To test, add a Carro product to your cart with both a domestic and an international shipping address. Confirm that shipping is only available for the domestic address.
